Brent Edmondson Brown, 49, of Ashburn, previously of Radford, passed away Saturday, Mar. 21, 2026. He was born Sept. 2, 1976, to Raymond and Faye Carr Brown, and was their only child.

Brent grew up in Radford and attended Radford Public Schools. He played basketball, football and soccer. Brent accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized, joining Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Brent received his bachelor’s degree from UVA, and his MBA from George Washington University. He was currently employed at the Marriott Corporation.

He leaves to mourn his death his mother, Faye Carr; uncle and his wife, Henry and Donna Carr of Warrenton; and many other family members, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Eric Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Burial Park in Radford.

The Carr family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
