The first ever Blue Mountain School Donor Appreciation Brunch and Fundraiser will be held Sunday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and hosted by Red Rooster Coffee in Floyd.

The Board of Directors wishes to invite the community to celebrate Blue Mountain School as a leader of alternative education in our region. Additionally, the brunch will provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the history and recognize the decades long commitment the school has made to the young minds and hearts of our community. As it enters its forty-third academic school year, Blue Mountain School invites the community to share a meal and conversation with the school’s administrators, staff, board members and school community members.

“We want to celebrate the generous connections that have cultivated an ecosystem of support,” say Director Tammie Sarver, “from our ancient roots to our new budding community, and the slow growth along the way.”

Join the school wide community and explore the organization through story and presentation; hear the exciting and ambitious plans for growth; and cheer with the Blue Mountain School community as they show their deepest gratitude to the donors whose past, present and future generosity roots the school in its place.

The food and coffee will be prepared by the Red Rooster staff and feature local ingredients along with espresso-based drinks at a cash bar. The event includes a curated Silent Auction from local masters, locally inspired food, student musicians, the debut of the new Blue Mountain School Storefront, exciting program and project reveals, guest speakers and more.

Rain or shine, Blue Mountain hopes you will join them as they grow outside! For more details on how to register visit bluemountainschool.net.
