Rylee Sloss is coming off an outstanding senior season at Blacksburg High School and this past week, she announced her intentions to continue her volleyball career at Radford University.

This past season, Sloss had 281 assists, 271 kills, 134 digs and 43 blocks and was named to the first-team All-River Ridge District and Region 4D lists.

Sherisa Livingston is entering her third season as the head coach of Radford volleyball, becoming the 11th head coach in program history in 2020.

Livingston came to Radford with nearly seven years of coaching experience following a phenomenal career as a student-athlete and a professional career. Most recently, she was the assistant coach at Big South Conference institution Winthrop University.

This past season, Radford finished 12-16.

Sloss said she chose Radford for a couple of reasons. “Being closer to home was extremely appealing to me when making my decision. Also, after visiting with Coach Livingston and Coach Forman, I felt welcomed and knew Radford was the best fit for me.”
Sloss plans to major in communications with a goal on the court to build a strong connection with teammates. “My main goal on the court is to contribute to the team’s success in whatever role possible.”
