Bishop, Darrell Edwin

Darrell Edwin Bishop, 83, of Christiansburg died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017.


Darrell’s long battle is over and he is now rejoicing in Heaven. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted and caring wife of 57 years, Betty Clark Bishop. Daughter, Lisa Adkins (Garnett). Grand-daughter,Samantha Adkins Livesay (Loven). Great grandchildren, Madison and Gavin Livesay. Sister-in-law, Barbara Clark. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Wells Bishop Wade, father Glen Bishop, sister Doris Dobbins, brothers Claude Bishop, and Harry Bishop.

A special thanks to all of the Doctors, Carillon Hospice, caregivers, family, and many special friends that have given Darrell so much love and care through his illness. Graveside services were conducted Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg with Pastor Pat Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 2840 Electric Road, Roanoke, Va. 24018 in Darrell’s name. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home Blacksburg.
