Christiansburg’s Will Stout (left) receives a certificate from Salem-Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame President Charley Hammersley as a finalist for the Ray Bellamy Memorial Award, honoring the high school player of the year in the area. The award was presented prior to the Salem Red Sox game with Wilmington on Aug. 9. The winner was announced that night and Evan Parks of Northside was selected for the 2018 season.
