Band fundraiser for Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread

The Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread (RFDB). provides much needed meals at no cost for people in need, no questions asked, in Radford and Fairlawn, VA through its dine-in program and Meals on Wheels.


Suggested cash donation of $10 or a check made out to Radford Fairlawn Daily Bread, OR bring/drop off canned goods (canned fruit is in demand). Food and soft drinks will be provided at the event!

MAIN Stage (upstairs)

12:15-12:45 Scott Fore​, an internationally recognized guitarist having twice won the annual National Flatpicking Championships held in Winfield Kansas.

1:05-1:35 Beatnik Nightmare​ ​are from Radford, VA and play all original alternative, psychedelic and rock. They cite King Crimson, The Beatles, Azam Ali, Zappa, and Donovan as their influences

1:55-2:25 Near November ​Playing original music as well as covers, ​they hope to change lives, move people, offer songs to forget about the troubles of life for a while and enjoy some great rock music​.

2:45-3:15 Neal Wyms​,​ electric blues multi-instrumentalist and songwriter

4:25-5:00 Billy Coteau​, the area’s only authentic Cajun band.

5:20-6:00 Last Train North​, catchy originals as well as a collection of rock hits from the golden age of rock to today’s radio favorites make this band a local must-see!

ACOUSTIC Stage (downstairs)

12:45-1:05: Robert Greenness Alexander​ ​brings his diverse experiences to the songs he has written: dark, funny, & irreverent, simple but soulful, and filled with whimsical wordplay. He is happy to lend his guitar and voice to the effort to use the power of music to build a community here where none go hungry.

1:35-1:55: Marsha Marie Scott, ​a local​ ​gospel favorite

2:25-2:45 Eight Point Star, ​Old Time music rooted in the past but infused with spirit-raising vitality

3:15-3:35 Jeff Hoge, ​singer songwriter folk artist, originals and wonderful interpretations of covers

4:05-4:25 Dean Reed’s Feed and Seed ​Old Time jam, one of the best!
