Auburn High School recently won the 6th Annual Botetourt Metro Invitational, which took place Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at the Botetourt Golf and Swim Club in Troutville. Cave Spring finished second and E.C. Glass finished third. James River’s Landon Bolling was the individual champion, winning by one shot. Auburn claimed the team title with a 14-stroke victory, finishing with a team score of 289. Both finished second and third respectively in the individual scores behind Bolling.
