Andrews, Camille Riche

Camille Andrews, 96, of Blacksburg, VA, was born in Chicago, IL, to the late Felix and Lucille Catale Riche on October 12, 1921. She married her beloved husband John Andrews (deceased) on November 16, 1941. She was preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses: Frank and Mildred Riche; Rose and Amos Pollard; Victoria Riche; and Genevieve and Alfonso Daurio.


She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and James Burger, Blacksburg; brother Louis and wife Patty, Marco Island, FL; grandchildren and spouses Catherine and Mark Traccarella, Cary, NC; John and Leah Burger, Charlottesville; and Julia Burger and Ben Corl, Blacksburg. She also leaves her much adored great-grandchildren David and Lauren Traccarella; Cecelia, Emily, and James Burger; and Clara and Helen Corl.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, from 6 – 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, Blacksburg, and a funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1205 Old Mill Road in Blacksburg. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery, 723 E. Roanoke St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Mary’s Building Fund.
