Michael Gene Smith, 63, of Rustburg, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at his home.
He is survived by his sister, Myrtle Yvonne Shaver; brother, James A. Smith; and nieces, Deborah and Billy Smith and family, Rachel and Shane Parson and family. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. before the service.
