Alma Elizabeth Quesenberry, 88, of Blacksburg, died Sunday, Aug. 20, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Montgomery County on Dec. 22, 1934, to the late Thomas Carl and Aline Surface Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Orie Lee Quesenberry; daughter, Dawn Davis; sisters, Odell McMahan and Etta Faye Shelor.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and Gary Kytchen, Linda and Jeff Corker, Martha Hodges, Tracy and Art Carter, Karen Elmore, Marcie and Larry Davis, Dicy and Jonathan Howell, Emily and Ken Drewry; son and daughter-in-law, Orie Lee and Debra Quesenberry; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law; five brothers and sisters-in-law.
A private service will be held. The family received friends Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, at McCoy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
