Pursuant to Virginia Code §§ 24.2-306 and 24.2-129, the Radford City Council will hold a public hearing on July 11, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 10 Robertson Street, Radford, VA 24141.
The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comment on an ordinance to amend Section 27-32 of the Radford City Code to change the polling place for the West Precinct from Carter Street United Methodist Church, 1223 2 nd Street, Radford, Virginia 24141 to Compassion Church, 1820 2 nd Street, Radford, Virginia 24141.
Copies of the proposed ordinance, a map of the West Precinct’s boundaries, and a
description of the polling place change may be obtained or inspected by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at (540) 731-3603.
