Voting underway for chamber holiday display contest

RADFORD – Looking for some family fun filled with holiday cheer?

Take some time to head out for a drive around the city and cast your votes for the Radford Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Display Contest.

The contestants are all signed up and decorated to the hilt, ready for people to come and see their efforts.

The Radford Chamber has a link on its website https://radfordchamber.com/holidaydisplaycontest) to take votes for people’s favorite displays, and voting lasts until Dec. 22.

“Pack up the car, have dinner in Radford and ride around our quaint neighborhoods to vote for your favorite decorated business storefronts, and homes,” says the chamber. “This competition is a fun way to celebrate the holiday season, create a festive and beautiful business district, attract visitors, and showcase your business and residence from east to west end.”

Business properties participating in the contest are Price-Williams Real Estate — 306 Tyler Ave., Radford; BT’s — 218 Tyler Ave., Radford; Eleven West — 6598 New River Road, Fairlawn;  Atlantic Union Bank — 50 West Main St., Radford; Tuck Chiropractic Clinic — 7350 Peppers Ferry Rd, Fairlawn; Farmers Insurance — 1055 East Main St., Radford; Ameriprise Financial — 202 Third Ave., Radford; Long Way Brewing — 501 Second St., Radford; Harris Self Storage — 1225 West Main St.,. Radford; New River Community Action — 1093 East Main St., Radford; Bondurant Realty — 1300 East Main St., Radford; Brad’s Barber Shop — 115 Third Ave., Radford.

Residential display entrants are 800 Wadsworth St., Radford; 2102 Charlton Lane, Radford; 

100 Charmont St., Radford; 106 Fifth S., Radford.

Pictures of entrant displays will be posted on the Radford Chamber’s Facebook page.
