Built about 1866, this store on Christiansburg’s Town Square was operated by various owners until it became Mosby & Johnston Store in 1886. This general store continued until 1930. The building was demolished in the 1930s to make way for the existing downtown post office building in 1937. (This image and many more are available from the Montgomery Museum of Art & History.)
