Jerry Paul Grubb, 65, went home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2021.
He was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Freda, and his parents, William and Irene.
Left to cherish his memory is his precious wife, Bonnie; his daughters, Galena and Camellia; his son-in-law Allen; and two adorable grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Boyd Grubb, and his sisters, Frances August and Wanda Semones.
Jerry was employed by Food Lion for 26 years. Church life was very important to him; he loved to teach God’s word and sing. It was important to him that people knew about the Lord and His goodness.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens of the New River Valley, Blacksburg, with the Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating.
Arrangements were by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
