Dalton Intermediate Principal Jerry King explains the versatility of the new Steelcase furniture at the school. The colorful furniture is not only inviting for students, but is more comfortable for students and can quickly be reconfigured and moved around the classroom. “This is great for group work, projects,collaboration,” said King. The furniture is from Steelcase’s Node product line. “Node school chairs are highly mobile — a quality that translates directly into classroom performance,” according to the Steelcase website. “After all, a lesson plan can be carried out more effectively when seating is arranged and rearranged effortlessly.”
