Bridgewater College
Carolina Bouldin, a sophomore majoring in English, and Caitlin Williams, a sophomore majoring in biochemistry, both of Christiansburg, made Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester.
Students on the Dean’s List have attained a 3.4 or better grade point average of a possible 4.0.
Carson-Newman University
Christopher Wise, of Blacksburg, made Dean’s List for the fall 2016 semester. Students earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher while taking 12 or more credit hours are awarded the distinction of Dean’s List honors.
Champlain College
Sylvan Ross of Christiansburg has been named to the Champlain College Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester. Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester. Ross is majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
College of William & Mary

In order to achieve Dean’s List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.
James Madison University
James Madison University is pleased to announce that the following students made the president’s list for the fall 2016 semester:

The University of Alabama
The University of Alabama awarded some 2,270 degrees during winter commencement Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. With this graduating class, UA will have awarded more than 257,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state’s first public university.
