George Wilmer Woodard, Jr., 84, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, at his home in Dublin.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines and formerly worked at AT&T, RAAP and Lynchburg Foundry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Ann Woodard; his parents; a sister, Peggy Scarborough; a brother, Richard Woodard; a cousin, Marion Earle; and a granddaughter, Cheyenne Woodard.
Survivors include his daughters, Elaine Woodard and her fiancé, Shawn Fuller of Dublin, and Eleanor Lester and husband, Curtis, of Shiloh; grandchildren Joseph, Haven, Ayden, R. G., Jace, Drew and Katie; and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be private.

The Woodard family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home and Crematory in Radford.
