The Rev. Gerald David Wood, 72, of Dublin, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2020. He was a minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church for 52 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Curtis Edmond Wood and the Rev. Myrtle Jernigan Wood.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Sandra Harris Wood; sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Jill Wood of Charlottesville, and Jonathan and Miriam Wood of Killeen, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Jody Dunham of Richmond, and Beth and Michael Bonner of Wilmington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, Carter, Cole, Kathleen, Timothy, Elias, Vivian, Benaiah, Mabry, Adalyn, Elinoa, Isaac and Moira; a brother and sister-in-law, Barry and Sue Wood of Richmond; sisters and brother-in-law Linda Quick of Laurinburg, N.C., and Debby and Michael Mitchell of Dublin; and many other relatives and friends.
The family received friends on Tuesday, Mar. 3, 2020, at the Family Worship Center in Pulaski. Memorial services followed with Dr. C. R. Connor officiating.
