Irene Gail Winters, 56, of Blacksburg, went home to be with Lord on Tuesday June 4th, 2019.
She is preceded in death by her father, Frank Junior Cumbee and mother, Inez Ellie Cumbee both of Rich Creek, VA.
Gail is survived by her husband, Glen M. Winters of Blacksburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Deb Cumbee of Sword Creek, Clarence and Brenda Cumbee of Rich Creek, and Timmy and Bonnie Cumbee of Rich Creek; her children, Perry W. and Nora Peru of Narrows, Kayla and Michael Harrison of Blacksburg, Melissa and Shawn Keene of Indian Valley; stepchildren, Glen F. and Michelle Winters of Floyd and Missy and Kurt Roberts of Christiansburg. She leaves behind 16 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and one loving canine companion, Sasha.
Funeral services will be conducted today, Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Akers and Marylou Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the Wake Forest Cemetery. The family received friends Friday, June 7, 2019 at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
