In mid-November, the Webelos den of Pack 244 held a 3-mile hike and cleanup of trails at Claytor Lake. All seven Webelos went, as well as a few adults and a sibling. The boys collected several bags of trash, and the hike itself was a requirement toward their Arrow of Light award.
Meanwhile, the entire Pack had its best year of popcorn sales ever, and the Cubs were rewarded for their efforts with free membership for 2018. The top sellers also received special prizes including free summer day camp and tickets to a monster truck show.
