She also assisted her husband in creating presents for Mother’s Day, as well as Christmas gifts and candy filled Easter eggs for the children of the church. They became known as “Him” and “Her” by the children. Wedding and Baby Shower honorees received a basket made by Wayne filled with a hand knit wash cloth and strawberry/rhubarb j a.m. home made by Helen along with a gift card. For 14 years she worked with the RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Programs) in various community efforts.

We would like to thank Rev. Heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers from Intrepid Home Health and individuals that came to the home to help Helen, Dr. Stuart Gardner and his staff for their tenderness in working with Helen, and the staff at Kroontje Health Care Center. And to Helen’s special roommate at Kroontje, Iris Cruise, for lovingly watching over her.
