Wake Forest Baptist Church (1886 McCoy Road, Blacksburg) is preparing to celebrate the church’s 118th anniversary, Sunday, beginning with Sunday School at 10 a.m. followed by the morning service at 11 a.m.
“Let us join hearts, minds and spirits together to lift up the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ,” Pastor Hiawatha Spraggins, Jr. wrote in an announcement.
The evening service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
“Our guest speaker will be Elder Tyrone Carper, and music will be rendered by Brother Rommell Hargrave and his First Baptist New Beginning Choir from Tazewell, VA,” Pastor Spraggins wrote.
Dinner will be served immediately following morning and evening services.
“Come and share this special time in Christ with us,” the Pastor wrote. “We will sing, pray, eat, shout and rejoice in the Lord together.”
