Diane Bishop Trenor, 76, of Newport, Va., went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024.
Diane leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years, Ty Trenor; two daughters, Michelle Long and Tina Trenor; three grandchildren, Colton Long, Billy Long, and Josie Long; her sister Maybelle McNeil (Winston); and countless other close family and friends.
Diane was born Jan. 15, 1948. She loved Jesus, her family, and so many others like they were family. She was like a second mom to some and known as Maw Maw to so many others over the years that she dearly loved as if they were her own.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Brian Long (Michelle), and her parents Edsel and Frances Bishop.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, at 2 p.m., with visitation 1-2 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg and officiated by Pastor Craig Reed. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg.
