The Botetourt County Transportation Survey will close on Friday, July 14, according to an announcement by the county staff.

Around 240 citizens across the community have weighed in on the survey that will be used as information on updates to the Transportation Chapter in the county’s Comprehensive Plan.

The Comprehensive Plan guides coordinated land use development and serves as a decision-making tool for elected officials.

The county is in the process of preparing for required updates to the plan.
