Michael Paul Addison Tolley passed away unexpectedly at home at the age of 53 on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.
He was a much loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Mike was a master carpenter, accomplished guitarist, and outdoorsman, who loved life and fully appreciated everything God had blessed him with.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 34 years Brenda; son Lee; daughter, April Allen (husband Kevin); grandchildren, Emily and James Allen; sister, Michelle Hardin (husband Steve); niece, Carla; nephews, Glen, Brian, and Aaron Hardin along with aunts and cousins across the country.
Words cannot express the grief we are feeling. Mike was an amazing man in every way. There is a hole in our hearts because we miss him, but thankfulness as well because he was in our lives as long as we were fortunate to have him.
Mike had a deep faith, but did not wish to have a service. He wanted his loved ones and friends to remember him and the good times they had together instead. He was an organ donor and we pray his gift will help others in need.
As his wife, I can say he was a gem of many facets and heaven is a suitable place for him. I will always love you, Michael. You were my best friend and soul mate. Until we are together again, you’ll be in my thoughts and heart every day for the rest of my life.
Per Mike’s request, there will be no services.
The Tolley family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford, Virginia.
