RADFORD – The grounds of Glencoe Mansion, Museum, and Gallery are the place to be this evening, Wednesday June 8, for live music, food, and family fun.
The latest installment of West End Wednesdays features Radford’s own Fritz Schindler Band and kicks off at 5:30 p.m. The free, family-friendly concert series is hosted by MountainTrotter Arts.
The Fritz Schindler Band is described as a group that “brings enthusiasm, musicianship, and good times to every venue and event. This talented, fun-loving band weaves a multitude of genres, time periods, and instruments together in a vibrant tapestry as they take you on a journey sure to inspire dancing, laughter, and singing along.”
In addition to the concert, the event features food and beverages for purchase and several craft, artisan and farmers market vendors. Cabo Fish Taco is the featured food vendor for this month. On-site craft beer and soda will be available for purchase (proper ID required). Attendees can also visit the Glencoe Mansion Gift Shop and tour the gallery, which currently features the artwork of Radford City Public Schools art students.
Outside food, lawn chairs, blankets, and leashed animals are allowed. No outside alcohol or smoking/vaping is allowed.
