The New River Regional Drug Task Force executed two search warrants in the County of Montgomery reference a long-term Heroin investigation involving numerous suspects on Thursday. Search warrants were executed at 1711 Vest Circle and 433 Bee Lane, both in Blacksburg. As a result of the search warrant, the following items were seized:
• 14 grams of heroin (if packaged for sale could produce 466 dose units at $25/unit total street value of $11,666.00)
• three grams of crack cocaine
• two Rifles
• Paraphernalia
• $1,813
George Underwood, 56 who resided at 1711 Vest Circle Blacksburg was arrested for distribution of a schedule (I) four counts and conspire to distribute a schedule (I) four counts.
Andrew Breen, 28, who resided at 433 Bee Lane Blacksburg was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute a schedule (II), possession with the intent to distribute a schedule (I), possession of a firearm while in possession of (I) or (II), distribution of a schedule (I) two counts, and conspire to distribute a schedule (I) two counts. Both subjects are being held without bond.
There were multiple other suspects involved in this operation who are pending indictment at this time. It is an ongoing investigation.
