The student-led RU Bigger Picture March and Rally on Saturday brings hundreds of students, faculty and staff to Moffett Quad on campus to express thoughts on equality, social justice and racial inequity. Concerns, and threats, were raised by some members of the Radford community about the rally, and the university blocked all entrances to campus only allowing students and people affiliated with the university to be on campus during the event. The name of the event, The Bigger Picture, is taken from a song by Lil Baby that says, in part, “It’s bigger than black and white. It’s a problem with the whole way of life. It can’t change overnight. But we gotta start somewhere.”
