Radford University Softball Head Coach Alisa Tasler has announced the exciting signing of two future Highlanders for the 2025 season.
Dakota Redmon, an incoming freshman from Mayodan, N.C. and Klara Van Beuge, an incoming freshman from Littleton, Colo. round out the duo of new Highlanders who will be making their collegiate debuts in the coming years.

5’10 | Pitcher/Infielder | Mayodan, N.C. | Rockingham County Early College High
2022 Game Game Changer Award winner, two-time scholar athlete award winner and two-time collegiate honor roll
Two-time all-conference honoree, two-time all-state honoree and two-time all-district honoree
2A Mid State Conference Tournament MVP in 2023 and was the 2A Pitcher of the Year 2023
Silver Slugger and NC Gatorade Player of the Year nominee for 2023
Pitches as well as having appearances at first base and second base in the infield
Plays her club softball with Carolina Elite and was ranked #35 in the 2022 Extra Innings Softball rankings, a USC Softball 16U Champion and TCS Colorado Sparkler All-American Team.
Tasler on Dakota: “Dakota has been a kid I have wanted on my team for a long time. She is an overall athlete that can not only perform in the circle but will also help us at the plate.”
