Kyle Creed Sites, age 77, of Blacksburg died, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his home. He was born in Blacksburg, VA on December 9, 1939 to the late Carlile and Myrtle Dewease Sites. He was also preceded in death by his brother Leslie Sites. Creed was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Gateway Baptist Church. Creed owned and operated Sites Lawn and Garden.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Julia Sartin Sites; son, Kyle Creed Sites, Jr. and wife, Melanie; grandson, Tyler Edward Storm Sites (Stormy); granddaughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Mae Elliott; sister, Rushie Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Rosemarie Sites; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday in the Gateway Baptist Church with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver, Jr. officiating. Interment followed in the Westview Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
