New York authorities have charged a 58-year-old Shawsville man in connection to a 1992 murder.
According to reports, Jerry Lewis is facing a murder charge involving a 15-year-old female found naked and strangled in her Queens, New York home.
A grand jury indicted Lewis this past month, and he was arraigned in court earlier this week.
The incident took place in May 1992 when Nadine Slade was strangled by her own bra. She lived with her grandmother in a multi-family home in Far Rockaway. Lewis was present in the adjoining apartment on the night of Slade’s death.
DNA found under Slade’s fingernails was retested by a medical examiner and pointed to Lewis.
