Millie (Marie) Shark, 82, of Christiansburg died, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home. She was born in Montgomery County May 2, 1935 to the late George Daniel and Agnes Jeanette Moore Spangler.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Monroe Shark, a sister, Edith Yates, brothers, George Daniel Spangler, Jr., Robert Jackson Spangler, Arnold Spangler, Ralph Spangler, and Tommy Spangler.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Robert Bates, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sisters, Ruby Bell, Shirley Barlow, brother, Benjamin Ray Spangler, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Piedmont Cemetery.
