Radford Athletics and title sponsor E.C. Pace Company announce the second annual Highland Pride Weekend scheduled for April 26-28. The weekend will once again include the Red and White Gala, the Highlander Open Golf Tournament and the Highlander Half Marathon and 5K. All proceeds will go towards the Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund.
Red & White Gala
The Red & White Gala is an evening of fun and fundraising at the Farmhouse. The event will include a silent and live auction, a buffet dinner with open bar, as well as a program of guest speakers and current student-athletes.

Highlander Open Golf Tournament
Join Radford University Athletics coaches and staff for an afternoon of golf at the Pete Dye River Course for the Highlander Open. Gather up your favorite foursome and join us for golf, raffle prizes and a reception after play. Lunch will be provided and all golfers will receive a special participant gift.

Highlander Half Marathon & 5K
This year’s Highlander Half and 5K are completely re-vamped with new race courses and an exciting post-race event – the Rollin’ on the River Food Truck Rodeo! The Half Marathon will run from the Dedmon Center through the City of Radford and end in Bisset Park where the Rollin’ on the River Food Truck Rodeo will include 25+ food trucks, kids’ activities and games, vendors and more.
Half marathon runners will receive a finishers’ medal, car magnet, shirt and one free beverage voucher to use at the Rollin’ on the River Food Truck Rodeo. The 5K participants will receive a shirt and one free beverage voucher.
