Juanita E. Sage, 90, of Blacksburg died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
Juanita was born in Montgomery County on April 19, 1930, to the late Claude T. and Viola Dowdy. She was preceded in death by Eugene Young, Ed Linkous, Jim Sage and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Young.
Our mama and nanny will be remembered forever for her wonderful cooking, beautiful smile, quick wit and all the love that she gave to everyone she met.
Juanita is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jeanne and Larry Cook, Debra Young and Rosia Young; her sons and daughters-in-law, Bud Young, Steve and Ann Young, Ron and Grace Young and Tim Young, 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and caregiver Evelyn Raines.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
