Radford Volleyball Head Coach Savanna Hammond has announced the exciting addition of Gabriela Smolenska, a middle blocker/opposite hitter from Warsaw, Poland and Alyssa Cadavid, a setter from Miami, Fla.

Played with KS Palac Bydgoszcz club, earning sixth place in the 2021-22 Polish Championship.
Game MVP during Polish Championship quarterfinal.
In two seasons at Navarro, 281 total kills, 1.48 kills per set, 52 service aces, 83 digs, 183 total blocks, 0.96 blocks per set and 434.5 total points.
“We are really excited to have Gabby join us in the fall,” said Hammond. “She is a very versatile middle with a powerful arm swing. We look forward to seeing her positive impact on the program.”

“Both Alyssa’s talent and experience will be great assets to our program this spring,” said Hammond. “We are excited to welcome her to Radford.”
