The Big South Conference announced the upcoming 2024-25 conference schedule Wednesday morning, laying out the road map for the men’s and women’s Radford University basketball programs.
Both will have eight home and eight road games.
The Big South season tips off on the road for Radford as the team begins the new year with a 2024 Big South tournament rematch at High Point on January 2nd. Radford’s first home Big South contest quickly follows just two days later against Winthrop on January 4th.
The Highlanders head back on the road for two of their next three games. Radford travels down to USC Upstate for another 2024 Big South Tournament rematch on January 11th. On January 15th, the Highlanders will host Gardner-Webb and swiftly head back down to the Palmetto State to face off against Charleston Southern on January 18th.
Radford’s last home meeting in January comes against in-state rival Longwood (Jan. 22). Radford will make road visits to Presbyterian (Jan. 25) and UNC Asheville (Jan. 29) to close out the month of January.
To open February, the Highlanders will remain at home in back-to-back games as they host USC Upstate (Feb. 1) and High Point (Feb. 5). Radford will once more hit the road for two straight games at Longwood (Feb. 8) and then Winthrop (Feb. 12).
After a home game against UNC Asheville (Feb. 19), the men’s and women’s programs will combine for an alumni weekend doubleheader against Presbyterian on February 22nd.
The final road contest of the regular season is set on February 26th at Gardner-Webb. The Highlanders close out Big South play at home in the Dedmon Center this season against Charleston Southern (Mar. 1).

Radford and its fellow eight Big South members will compete at the Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tenn. from March 5th to March 9th for an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
