The Radford cross country team will be hosting tryouts on next Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Cupp Stadium on the north side of campus.
The women will run a one-mile time trial and the men will run over a 2000m time trial distance on the track.
Before participation in tryouts, all participants must have completed the following checklist before:
1. Must be enrolled full time at Radford University.
2. Must have completed a full physical examination by your doctor prior to tryouts and provide proof of examination.
3. You must obtain a copy of your health records from your doctor showing that you had a sickle cell screen as an infant. If unobtainable, you must complete a sickle cell screen prior to tryouts at the student health center.
4. Have a copy of your insurance card present at tryouts.
5. The tryout clearance waiver form, the physical form, the sickle cell screen (found at the attached document) and a copy of your insurance card must be emailed to coach Sam Bradley at sbradley21@radford.edu a minimum of 24 hours prior to tryouts beginning.
6. Please indicate if you wish to attend the 9:30 a.m. or 2 p.m. try out time.
