A 41-year-old Burke man, Justin Christopher Narcisse, has been sentenced to prison after entering an Alford Plea in connection with the robbery of the Little River Market on Peppers Ferry Road in Christiansburg.
Narcisse entered his plea Thursday in a Montgomery County Courtroom to charges of robbery, assault and battery, malicious use of pepper spray, and destruction of property. By entering the Alford plea, Narcisse maintained his innocence but admitted there was enough evidence to find him guilty. Judge Mike Fleenor sentenced him to 15 years in prison but suspended all but seven.
Investigators say in 2020 Narcisse approached the night clerk around 10 p.m. in the store’s parking lot, pepper sprayed him, and took the night deposit bag.
