Radford’s Anneliese Stewart anchored the Bobcat 3200 m relay team on Wednesday at the 1A/2A state championship meet. The Radford team of Stewart, Miranda McGrady, Sophie Graham, and Ellie Buskill placed second with a time of 10:18.55.Radford’s Tehya Friend placed second in the 1A/2A state shot put competition with a throw of 36-01.Radford’s Tyashia Gellner placed 6th in the long jump with a distance of 15-09 during Thursday’s state championship competition at Radford.Radford’s Harrison Bush crosses the line for the Bobcats’ 800 m relay team. The team of Bush, Josh Alley, J.W. Bethea, and B. Davis placed second in the event with a time of 1:35.95.Radford’s Miranda McGrady placed 6th in the 1000 m race at the 1A/2A state championship with a time of 3:22.01 at Roanoke College.Radford’s Ben Ramsey placed 8th in the 3200 m race (10:43.02), just ahead of Auburn’s Branson Weeks (9th, 10:54.60).
