RADFORD – The Radford teacher arrested in September is now facing an additional charge related to the same incident. Lori Anne Jarvis, 43, of Radford, has been charged with one count of felony possession of cocaine.
“The charge comes after state lab results were returned from evidence collected at the scene of the original incident,” according to a statement by Radford Public Information Coordinator Becky Hawke.
According to Hawke, Jarvis turned herself in to Radford police.
Jarvis was charged with possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor in September following an incident at her home on the evening of September 2 involving the drug overdose of a juvenile.
Jarvis, who was a teacher at Belle Heth Elementary School, has been on administrative leave since her arrest.
