RADFORD – The Radford Public Library’s latest installment of its literary program Radford Reads will give attendees the chance to meet author and poet Lesley Wheeler.
The event is set for Thursday, Sept. 15, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Wheeler is the author of the novel “Unbecoming,” the recently released “Poetry’s Possible Worlds,” and many other works. Her poetry and essays appear in American Poetry Review, Massachusetts Review and elsewhere. She is the poetry editor of “Shenandoah” and the Henry S. Fox Professor of English at W&L University, and she teaches courses in nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first century poetry in English, as well as creative writing in speculative fiction.
This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the library’s Lamplighters.
