Community Room
If you’re looking for a venue for your public meeting, you may want to consider the library Community Room. It is equipped with a projector, projection screen, tables, and chairs. We’ve even redecorated recently with the book posters from our You Are Who You Read program.
Throwing Shade
Speaking of the library’s Community Room, the window shades were replaced last Saturday by Accents for Windows and Curtains ETC. The new shades should do a much better job of darkening the room for your projection needs!
New High School Yearbooks
Thanks to the Glencoe Mansion, Museum & Gallery and Library of Virginia, the Radford Library now has even more years of digitized Radford High School yearbooks available on the library’s website. We’ve just added 1944, 1945, 1946, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1956, 1957, 1959, and 1961.
Mango Languages
Going somewhere fun for Spring Break? Pick up a bit of the vernacular using Mango Languages, the Radford Public Library’s free language learning app. You can use it in your browser, or download it for your smart device..
