RADFORD – Porches were the most recent theme for the Radford Photo Club’s latest monthly contest.
Each month, the club gathers to vote on each other’s work based on varying themes and discuss photography. Club members can be amateur or professional.
Monthly winners are chosen by vote of the members, picking winners based on execution of the theme, and also on quality of non-theme photos.
“Porches” was the club’s most recent theme at its June 20 meeting. Winners were: First place in theme category: Debby Ring

Second place in open category: Lucy Gilmore
July meeting will be Thursday, July 18, at 6 p.m. at the Radford Library. The theme for July is “hands.”
