RADFORD – Radford University has been named this year’s top ranked online Registered Nurse RN) to Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing Program in Virginia by RegisteredNursing.org.
According to the announcement from RegisteredNursing.org, “Nursing programs were assessed on several factors which represent how well a program supports students during school, towards licensure, and beyond.
“Radford University has been educating nurses for over 40 years, and they have kept up with the times by offering a fully online RN to BSN program,” the statement says in defending RU’s top ranking. “Additionally, students have two options when it comes to admission: be a current working nurse with over six months of experience and hold a diploma or associates degree in nursing (AND) or be currently enrolled in an ADN program, have completed one year of the program, and provide a letter of recommendation from faculty.”
“RN to BSN programs are a great way for RNs to complete a baccalaureate education in nursing,” the organization’s statement says. “The BSN degree opens up the door to better employment opportunities and higher salaries. Online RN to BSN program options make it convenient for nurses to continue their education anytime, anywhere.”
