Volunteer Montgomery held its annual volunteer recognition event on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the Belmont Christian Church with approximately 40 attending.
“Volunteering Is Our Superpower” was this year’s theme.
Volunteer Montgomery says a big thank you goes out to the Belmont Christian Church for hosting the event, catered by Hethwood Market. Volunteer Montgomery would also like to thank the 2025 Recognition Planning Committee, including Rosemary Jones, Carol Trutt, Bev Bridges, Jack Davis and Montgomery County Human Services Director Alex Strickler.
Volunteer Montgomery is pleased to have 18 volunteers who have reached these milestone years, including 20 Years: Charles Lutz and Susan Walton; 15 Years: Alan Dean, Joan Grayson, Pam King, Linda Parah and Jill Songer; 10 Years: Brenda Arnold, Kai Duncan, David Guy, Clarity James, Jama Layne and Jeanne Sottosanti; and Five Years: Kemvia Adams-Bush, Taska Bailey, Robbie Hall, Marcia Murphy and Gail Patterson.
