Radford man charged with 56 sex crimes dating back to 1994

A Radford City Grand Jury indicted Phillip Bryant Foster, 57, of Radford on multiple indictments related to sexually related crimes on Friday.

The crimes involved multiple victims and occurred over a lengthy period of time beginning in 1994.

Mr. Foster has been indicted on the following counts:

 14 counts of animate object sexual penetration of a child less than 13

 12 counts of forcible sodomy of a child less than 13

 12 counts of rape

 8 counts of forcible sodomy

 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery

 7 counts of possession of child pornography

Foster was arrested Friday by the Radford City Police Department and remanded to the New River Valley Regional Jail on no bond. No further information has been released in reference to this case.

According to past issues of the Radford News Journal, Foster was a candidate for the Radford School Board in 2014. He finished 5/5 in the race. He graduated from Radford High School in 1979.
