RADFORD – The Radford Fiddle and Banjo Jam has a new home and is now taking place at the Highlander Hotel. The jam started playing at the Highlander Hotel, located on Tyler Avenue, on Monday, July 15. The jam is open to the public for all pickers and fans of bluegrass music. The plan is to hold the jam on the rooftop seating area.
“Nice turnout of musicians and guests in a lovely setting on Monday night,” the Radford Fiddle and Banjo Jam posted on social media. “Hopefully, we can get the jam back on the public radar at the Highlander Hotel.”
The jam happens every Monday at 6 p.m. and is a participating event on the Crooked Road Heritage Music Trail. It was founded more than 20 years ago and has taken place at several Radford locations over the years.
