RADFORD – The Radford City Schools Partners for Excellence Foundation is supporting Radford High School Science Department Chair with a donation for new classroom equipment, including 20 microscopes.
The purchase was made possible by the Foundation’s private partnerships with local Radford citizens. These funds follow a previous $75,000 donation used for 21st Century upgrades to the high school science rooms and laboratories that helped create 21st Century learning environments for students.
Foundation Board Member Josh Smith recently presented the $5,100 donation to Jeff Brown, chair of the RHS Science Department, and RHS Ken Keister.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization supporting and enhancing academics, arts, & athletics through strong community relationships.
