The ACCE program is a public/private partnership which makes college available tuition-free to 2017 graduates from Radford City. It covers the cost of tuition for two years at New River Community College. ACCE supports as many students as possible based on student need and funds available for the program.
Radford City has committed $25,000, leaving an additional $50,000 to be raised from local business and industry. To learn more about the program, or to contribute a donation, please contact the Educational Foundation Office at 674-3618.
The Radford City Schools Partners For Excellence Foundation, Inc. supports and enhances the educational experience of the Radford City Schools students through business and individual partnerships.
The Radford High School Foundation, Inc. was formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in 1986 for the purpose of supporting and enhancing Radford’s already successful school system.
The foundation began primarily as an academic supporter, but has been able to further major athletic facility initiatives by acting as liaison in public/private projects. The foundation has also donated more than $510,000 in classroom grants and scholarships to all four of the city schools.
