The Bobcats fell to Galax in the state 1A soccer championship game Saturday in penalty kicks. The teams finished tied 3-3 after regulation. Galax would score twice on PK’s for the win.

William Mitchell had one of two first half goals for the Bobcats who finish 15-2-1 on the season. Galax also took the 1A West Regional title two weeks ago against the Bobcats.
Radford’s Cameron Owens (right) also had a first half goal for the Bobcats in Saturday’s action.
